ACHE REY TANGOS - Release

Ache Rey, originally from the town of Avellaneda, undoubtedly the youngest Argentine tango singer (29) succeeding in the United States, presents his new music titled

ACHE REY TANGOS on January 23rd on all digital music platforms.

ACHE REY TANGOS consists of exquisite versions of "Garras" (Aníbal Troilo-José María Contursi), "La última copa" (Francisco Canaro-Juan Andrés Caruso), "Mariposita" (Anselmo Aieta-Francisco García Jiménez), and "Temblando" (Alberto Acuña-Charrúa).

A work that condenses some of the interpreter's favorite tangos, which were recorded in December 2023 at Eleven Palace Studio in Buenos Aires, along with Manuel "Popo" Gómez on double bass and Sergio Zabala on first and second guitar.

"The idea of this record was to go back to the origin, to my favorite tangos, and to my beginnings in Buenos Aires, when I sang tangos accompanied by the guitar from a very young age," says Ache Rey. He began singing duets with his father at just 9 years old and at 15 he stood out at the famous Esquina Homero Manzi.

He was the voice of Esquina Carlos Gardel and on several occasions shared the stage with Julio Pane. He was part of the Quinteto Real and was the lead singer of the Avellaneda Tango Orchestra under the direction of Diego Lerendegui (violinist and composer member of Osvaldo Pugliese's orchestra).

In 2020, he was part of "Palacio Tango presents Esquina Carlos Gardel World Tango Tour" alongside the Típica Di Salvo orchestra under the direction of Virginia Di Salvo. Additionally, he led an extensive tour that included performances at the Opera of Monte Carlo (Monaco) and at the Vulcan Hall Tenerife in the Canary Islands. In 2021, he traveled to the United States with the company "Souls of Tango" by Analia Carreño & Luis Ramirez, offering performances within the off-Broadway theater circuit, milongas, and festivals, and since then he has settled in the USA, headlining important concerts in cities like New York, New Jersey, Chicago, and Denver, among others. Today, at just 29 years old, he triumphs on the main stages of North America.
